TRI St.Andrews by the Sea is a Sprint Distance Triathlon taking place during the Kingsbrae Challenge St. Andrews weekend; a chance for athletes to experience parts of the Challenge course and take in all of the Challenge St. Andrews festivities. The Sprint Distance TRI St. Andrews by the Sea takes place along side the Challenge Half Distance race takes place Sunday, July 5th, 2015.


Race week includes the Challenge Expo, Junior Challenge Kids Race and the 10K and 5K Run / Walk. Come experience our Sprint Distance Race and then stick around to watch all of the Age Groupers and PRO athletes race on Sunday. 

Other activities include multiple opportunities for whale watching, sea kayaking, relaxing at the beach, Award winning golf, a visit to our newly renovated Huntsman Marine aquarium and much more. 


Whether a seasoned veteran, a newbie or a spectator you will not be disappointed with this World Class event.

6:30 Volunteer information and appreciation party. Come and ask any questions you might have while picking up your volunteer shirt. Located in the beautiful Kingsbrae Gardens

Friday July 4th

8:00am - Free Swim with Olympian and Olympic Coach Sharon Donnelly  IFLOAT demo at Katy's Cove

8:30am - 3:00pm Huntsman Aquarium Marine Biology Camp - ages 7-12
There is a marine experience waiting that is sure to surprise and delight! Call 506-529-1245 to pre register as this will fill up! This is a great chance for the kids to have fun while the parents have some time to train or relax before the weekend.

8:00am - TriNB Junior Training Camp Starts

9:00am - Yoga for Triathletes - Algonquin Hotel Tickets are available here

Yoga is an essential element for Triathletes who train for 3 physically demanding sports. Overtime this training can create imbalances in the body. In this session we will combine attention to strength, flexibility and concentration to prepare you for the big event.

10.00am - 5:00pm - Free Expo/ Registration for all events in the Van Horne Ballroom & Pavilion

There will be something for everyone in this expo with local Flair and the best products from the industry! Challenge St. Andrews merchandise will be for sale as well. Be sure to buy early! Monday July 7th

9:00am - Yoga for Recovery - Algonquin Hotel. Tickets available here
In this session we will focus on recovery of the physical and mental energies depleted during the triathlon. After the tri your body will be tight and tired. This practice will hasten your recovery and help prevent adhesions from forming in your soft tissue. We will focus on winding down mentally.
